Q. Do you ship to my Country?
A. My online shop only allows orders from the UK. However, I am able to ship to some international countries where there are no trade restrictions at the present time. If you would like to order from outside the UK, please get in touch.
Q. Do you have a shop I can visit?
A. Not yet! I am often at craft fairs on the isle of Lewis and Harris. But if you are visiting the Outer Hebrides and would like to look at my crafts, get in touch and we can arrange to show you my crafts in person.
Q. Do you make the Harris Tweed?
A. No, Harris Tweed is crafted by highly skilled weavers in the Outer Hebrides, you can find out more about Harris Tweed here, or from Harris Tweed Authority.
I purchase Harris Tweed directly from the weavers, and I am very lucky to be able to see the cloth being made before choosing the tweeds to make my crafts with.
Q.Can you make me something I want but isn’t in your shop?
A. I am happy to make tailor made items. If you have something in mind, get in touch and discuss your requirements.
Q.How long does it take to make a tailor made order?
A. The time it takes for a tailor made order will depend on the size and type of item(s) and whether you want a specific Harris Tweed or other fabric used for the item.
If your item is felted, I make all felt by hand, and this process takes time to make before crafting in to your chosen item.
I am to design and dispatch items as soon as possible and when you agree to order a tailor made item, I will give you a rough estimate of the time it will take to make.
